As we go out live tonight on some of our family of community radio stations, we are just hours away from the end of General Election Day. The people of Great Britain are electing a new Parliament and government. Polling stations close in around two and a half hours time at ten o'clock this Thursday evening. The drama then will unfold on television and radio as an eagerly anticipated election night unfolds and we see winners, losers and much analysis. With climate change, the NHS, the war in Ukraine and the threat of far right governments in Europe impacting people's concerns, the next government will have its work cut out. Live coverage of the election results will be coming in on these networks - BBC One, ITV, Sky News, BBC Radio 5 Live, and LBC Radio. So, get your cocoa ready and stand by for a night of drama and intrigue, in the inimitable style of the British Parliamentary process.
