This show regularly features ShoutOut content, an accolade we are very proud of.

Broadcasting to a 10 mile radius, and online around the globe, Glastonbury FM (GFM) is the Community Radio Station for Glastonbury, Street, Wells and all the surrounding villages.
In May 2009, after four years of temporary broadcasts, GFM launched as a fulltime Community Radio Station.
GFM is a service different to any currently available in the region, with it’s entire output sourced locally. It’s radio made by local people for local people. Throughout their 5 year licence term, they intend to continue building the diversity and range of output, bringing more and more local people to the airwaves.
As a not for profit organisation, and without the restriction of a commercial mandate, they are confident they can challenge, educate, inform and include all parts of the community.

It’s aimed at the LGBTQ+ community, however can be enjoyed by everyone. Our claim is Music With Sparkle as we don’t play the usual mainstream playlist, but only big anthems. We offer a variety of shows, live and pre-recorded, on different themes: every show has a specific format, which makes every show unique. We develop shows in house but also open up our platform to other presenters. One of our highlighted traits from professional presenters is that we offer the opportunity to aspiring presenters. We help and give them guidance, develop their skills in presenting, editing, broadcasting laws and regulations etc and then provide them airtime. Our shows offer an incredible variety of topics that can be interesting, quirky and interactive. A lot of shows you would not find in mainstream media.
