Pink News Marks Black History Month Heroes

Pink News has assembled a list of nine black LGBT+ celebrities and activists from across the decades to mark Black History Month in the UK. The hot list presents some names that might be familiar such as the footballing hero Justin Fashanu and activist Munroe Bergdorf, but also some others that need to be recognised – for example, Pearl Alcock whose illegal club on Railton Road in Brixton, was a black gay meeting place for people across London who wanted a safe space.
