Gay Comic to Host Innovative New Game Show

Virgin Radio says that gay comic Tom Allen is to host a new comedy programme for the Dave TV Network, an anarchic riff on Radio 4’s legendary Desert Island Discs. Each episode, four comedians will go head to head as they develop ideas for their dream island, letting their imaginations and fantasies fly. Allen said: "At a time when so many of us have fantasised about living on an island far away from the people around us, I couldn't be more excited to be hosting this fun, original show whilst putting comics through their paces to demonstrate that utopia is a very difficult thing to achieve”.
