Community Paper Looks for Reporters

22/08/2021

There is a activist phrase, “Don't Hate the Media – Become the Media”. For LGBTQIA people this phrase has guided our efforts since the nineteen fifties in building our own voices and our own media institutions. “ShoutOut” is very much a part of this effort as it continues through the years. If you have journalistic experience and want to contribute to a different culture of journalism, one that is people centric, local and committed to the environment, then you may be interested to learn that the local independent and publicly co-operatively owned newspaper The Bristol Cable is looking for a full time journalist to join their team. The deadline for applications is 22nd August, so be quick to look at their website www.thebristolcable.org for more information.
