Emergency Staff are Consulted on Health

02/01/2021

Many LGBTQ people are drawn to help others.  Some would say that is our natural nurturing and shamanic instinct as healers in society, something that was recognized by many past societies.  A great number of our community in the UK work for emergency services such as Paramedics, emergency health care and the Police.  The national mental health charity MIND says “We want to hear from staff and volunteers working in the emergency services in England and Wales about how the coronavirus pandemic has affected your mental health”.  Blogging online, Mind activist Jonathan Stuart says “ Our emergency services have always had an extremely challenging job, but this year it has been even harder. Mind want to ensure that Blue Light staff get the support they need both now and into the future”.  Visit the Mind website or Facebook page for a link to the survey, which takes around a quarter of an hour to fill in and closes on Sunday 10th January.
