GScene magazine down in Brighton and Hove reports that the Digitial Festival of the Brighton and Hove Pride Committee, which replaces the physical even this year, called Fabuloso, is nearly ready to go. Next weekend, making use of today’s You Tube streaming technology, the free to view event will launch and take place over three days – Friday 31st July, Saturday 1st August and Sunday 2nd August. The line up of acts who have given their time for free to help the event take place is breathtaking and includes: Norman Cook, Peter Tatchell, Dave the Bear, Caroline Lucas MP, Years and Years and Heather Peace. Everyone can view for free, visit the Brighton and Hove Pride webpage to gain access to the live feed. Don’t forget that more information and community politics is in GScene magazine whose August issue will be out this week. You also have Gaydio South on 98.7 FM, LGBTQ and HIV programming on local community channel Radio Reverb on 97.2, plus look out for an increasing amount of LGBTQ content on the local television service for Brighton. Latest TV, which is on Freeview Channel 7 plus cable packages, serves Brighton and Hove and its shows include Miss Jason’s House Party, the AK Souflee LGBTQ Chat Show and Queer Say amongst other programmes.
