Clear Talking on Prostate Cancer

16/06/2025

Prostate Cancer was discussed on talk radio network LBC, broadcast from London on 16th June.  The station reported that former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak had urged males and all those with male gonads to look out for symptoms of Prostate Cancer and to have the confidence to visit their GP over this matter.  Callers to LBC Radio added that the NHS should add the blood anti-body test urgently to the plethora of diagnostic tools, as many men have anxieties about the more traditional digital rectal test, even though that was quick and easy.  Meanwhile, the Errol McKellar Foundation, has been advertising on many of London's reggae pirate stations to reach black men with the message that the prostate cancer rate amongst men of African-Caribbean origin was still at twice the level of European men and that black guys should test themselves routinely for any signs of prostate cancer.
