Anti-Trump Protests Are a Huge Success

Irish public service network RTE reported Sunday evening that protests called in all fifty states of the USA on Donald Trump's birthday had been a resounding success.  They said that despite efforts at provocation by an intimidatory National Guard and riot police in places, protesters had been peaceful.  A huge blimp of Trump in a nappy floated above a protest in Washington.  Tens of thousands of protesters at a huge number of towns and cities totalled millions mobilised against the most authoritarian regime the US has endured since its founding.  RTE Radio 1 said "Wielding signs with messages like "No KKKings" and "No crown for the clown," the protests stood in stark contrast to a massive military parade in Washington."
