Women and Children First, Chicago's independent and feminist, queer and radical bookstore, is having a makeover - online at least. The shop says "
Starting Saturday, May 10 at 5 p.m., our website will be under construction as we work behind the scenes to launch a shinier, smoother, and more easily navigable online shop. We’re aiming to be back up and running by Wednesday, May 14. Stay tuned for updates! In the meantime, you can still place orders by giving us a call at 773-769-9299. Or, you can always come into the store to visit us in-person. We're open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday & Noon to 6 on Mondays. We’ve been busy learning all the new bells and whistles, but please be gentle with us as we get used to the new setup! There will likely be a few hiccups and glitches along the way. Thank you for your patience and support as we make this exciting leap!"
