UK Black Pride is Huge Success - QX Mag

QX Magazine, the guide to all things LGBTQIA+ in London, reports that UK BLack Pride marks its nineteenth anniversary on Sunday 11th August.  Their correspondents note "This year’s theme for UK Black Pride will be Freedom & Justice to mark its 19th year as the UK’s most inclusive Pride event.   Founded in 2005, UK Black Pride is the largest European pride celebration for LGBTQIA+ people of African, Caribbean, Asian, Latin American and Middle Eastern descent. It is a safe space to celebrate diverse sexualities, gender expressions, gender identities and cultures.    UK Black Pride organises annual celebrations during pride month and various activities throughout the year, which promote and advocate for the emotional, intellectual and spiritual health and well-being of the communities they represent."   UK Black Pride 2024 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Saturday, 11 August, 2024. 12 noon – 8 pm.  To get involved, or to learn more about the UK Black Pride movement, visit https://www.ukblackpride.org.uk
