As July gives way to August and the dog days of the summer, so LGBTQIA+ theatre is hotting up for the summer season. QX Magazine, the bar scene publication and guide to all things queer in the capital, has this to say " It’s Camden Fringe this month with a truly fabulous lineup of LGBTQI+ shows. Two shows from Camden People’s Theatre include Spit In My Face , exploring experiences with sex, romance, excitement, frustration, and sorrow, and The Strange Case Of Dr Dillion, a fascinating real-life gender transition story from the first half of the twentieth century. Schrödinger’s Lesbians at The Lion & Unicorn is a joyful and irreverent new play about love, lesbians, and coping with a history that has excluded you. The King’s Head in Islington is staging The Pink List, also as part of Camden Fringe. It’s a one-person musical inspired by the untold stories of gay men in postwar Germany, taking its name from the lists created by the Nazis to track and target them. Plus Two Come Home is a story of regret and second chances covers a range of universally relatable themes, including poverty, addiction, generational trauma, and repressed love. QX also has some great ticket promos for Queenz: Live In London! and Frank’s Closet. There is so much more to see so do check out our August Theatre Guide".
