More Evidence of Russian Interference in West

21/08/2024

Danmarks Radio, the public service broadcaster in Denmark, has reported that a Russian woman has been arrested in the Zealand area of the country, and stands accused of being a Russian agent, working to spread propaganda and disinformation in an effort to disrupt Western Democracies.  The homophobic Russian state, which persecutes many different groups of people, and is a dangerous warmongering autocracy, has been interfering with western countries for some years.  Danmarks Radio says "a  Russian state fund has sent large sums of money to projects and people all over Europe.... This is the first time that a person has been arrested in Denmark on a pure suspicion of illegal influence activities, says Professor Emeritus of Criminal Law at the University of Copenhagen Jørn Vestergaard.   Russian propaganda campaign aims to create stories about discrimination against Russian-speaking citizens abroad..... The ultimate goal, according to the Estonian intelligence service KAPO, is to create "a justification for interfering directly in the internal affairs of other countries".
