The Peter Tatchell Foundation for Human Rights says that it is appealing for people in and outside the LGBTQIA+ communities for funds to conitnue their work. The organisation says "As we navigate the challenges of the year, we find ourselves facing an unexpected hurdle: an £11,000 shortfall in our budget. A deficit that is threatening our work! With many people's generous support in the past, we've made significant strides in championing equality, justice and freedom for all. From campaigns supporting Ukraine's right to self defence, to initiatives promoting LGBT+ and women's rights, your contributions are the lifeblood of our efforts. In the last year, we helped over 100 refugees who had escaped terrible persecution and secured apologies from more a third of UK police forces for their past witch-hunts of LGBTs. Now, more than ever, we need your help to bridge this financial gap. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly impact our ability to sustain our vital programs and amplify marginalised voices in Uganda, Russia and Iran. Please consider making a donation today and standing with us in our fight for human rights"!. Donations can be made via the organisation's website at : https://www.petertatchellfoundation.org/
