Longtime LGBT+ favourite programme "Doctor Who" will return on Saturday 11th May just before the grand finale of the Eurovision Song Contest, so there will be plenty of opportunity to party and celebrate at the weekend. Sources for the BBC television programme said that the first and second episodes of the 2024 season will be available from midnight on Friday into Saturday and then will be transmitted one episode at a time each Saturday on BBC 1. Gay hero and acclaimed scriptwriter, Russell T Davies, who is showrunner, explained : “At last, it’s my great delight to unleash a whole new season of the Doctor and Ruby’s adventures together. Monsters! Chases! Villains! Mysteries! And a terrifying secret that’s been spanning time and space for decades. Don’t miss a second!” Swivel eyed right wing lunatics are braying online at the supposed "wokeness" of the programme, but fans are delighted as Who has always been inclusive of minorities. They will be raising a glass to the show as it enters its sixty first year of adventuring through time and space.
