Gay Eco Underwear Brand Showcases Ethics

02/03/2024

The fact that LGBTQIA people tend to be more interested than the general population in ecological politics and sustainability, along with related issues like animal liberation and ethical trading, has been well evidenced and documented.  Now, a top gay and bi men's fashion brand has started to produce eco friendly versions of its sexy pants and underwear.  Andrew Christian Fashions, which is gay run and owned, says that it has a small but growing range called "Eco Collective" which makes use of recycled plastic bottles to produce underwear, which it says are soft and washable.  They also say that they are strong and quick drying.  A press release from the company said that over the years they had also corporately backed a wide variety of LGBT+ and progressive organisations including The Human Rights Campaign and Friends of the Earth.
