Women Bravely Protest Against Ukrainian War

Women are often said to be the heart of the peace movement.  And Radio Free Europe, the dissident radio channel that broadcasts free expression into countries where there is little independent media, reports that on February 3rd, wives of Russian soldiers protested at Aleksandr Garden, asking that their husbands be brought home. The demo was  timed to coincide with 500 days since Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "partial mobilization," including conscription, as losses mounted on both sides in Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine that began in February 2022.
