Stonewall Mobilises Community to Help Afghans

The top LGBTQIA charity Stonewall has been in touch with its supporters. They report the very real threat to life for our community in Afghanistan, where one year after the takeover of the reactionary and fundamentalist warlords known as the Taliban, LGBT+ people are targetted for persecution, beatings and extrajudicial killings. Stonewall is doing what it can by working with local groups bringing LGBT+ people across borders and to safety. But they report that they need funding to continue their work.
