Protests Against Far Right Israeli Govt

Danmarks Radio in Copenhagen reports that demonstrations are continuing in many Israeli cities comprising a broad coalition of progressive groups including LGBTQ+ people, with concern about attempts by the new right wing coalition to suppress the independence of the Supreme Court and remove rights from already beleaguered minority populations, such as Israeli Arabs.  Many people of secular and left backgrounds in Israel fear that the country is slipping towards authoritarianism.
