Hypocrisy of Anti-Gay Bigots Over Pop Stunt

Many LGBTQIA+ people will be aware of and familiar with far right wing organisations' hypocrisy - encouraging violence and hatred against minorities yet acting hurt when they are criticised.  LGBTQ+ Nation newswire reports that many Donald Trump supporters were spluttering with confected rage after the out bisexual frontman of punk rock band Green Day, Mr Billie Joe Armstrong, held aloft a hallowe'en rubber mask of Mr Trump with "idiot" written across the forehead.  In a frenzy of bizarre misinformation and mock outrage, Trumpists and other right wing conspiracy extremists claimed that Mr Armstrong had actually been holding a human head up, and that it was "disrespectful".  The spluttering of the right wing extremists was a cause of mirth for many commentators who pointed out that it was perfectly legitimate to hold aloft a hallowe'en mask , even if it is August and not October.
