Pride Cymru, which is a volunteer-led charity that works to promote the elimination of discrimination be it on the grounds of sexual orientation, gender, race, religion or ability.are joining forces with G(end)er Swap, which is the first LGBTQ+ clothing outreach org that supports trans and GNC individuals to access clothes and community via style workshops, pop ups and digital resources. Together, they are organising a free workshop for LGBTQ+ young people from G(end)er Swap and Pride Cymru at 1pm on August the 26th in the Pride Cymru Offices (4th Floor, Friary House, Greyfriars road, Cardiff). The workshop is all about wellbeing and gender euphoria and positivity. The workshop will include brainstorming for ideas about what those words mean to you and exploring how to incorporate make up, skin care, styling and other aspects of self care into your daily routine alongside signposting to additional services and groups such as G(end)er Swap who will be running the workshop on the day and who help gender non-conforming individuals access community, clothes and self-care related resources. The workshop will take place in a safe space within the Pride Cymu office, and so will be space in which you can ask questions about identity, self care and wellbeing etc if you are comfortable to do so. Mae'r gweithdy yn ymwneud â lles ac ewfforia rhywedd a phositifrwydd. Bydd y gweithdy’n cynnwys taflu syniadau am syniadau am yr hyn y mae’r geiriau hynny’n ei olygu i chi ac archwilio sut i ymgorffori colur, gofal croen, steilio ac agweddau eraill ar hunanofal yn eich trefn ddyddiol ochr yn ochr â chyfeirio at wasanaethau a grwpiau ychwanegol fel G(end)er Cyfnewid pwy fydd yn cynnal y gweithdy ar y diwrnod ac sy'n helpu unigolion nad ydynt yn cydymffurfio â rhyw gael mynediad i adnoddau cymunedol, dillad a hunanofal. Cynhelir y gweithdy mewn man diogel o fewn swyddfa Pride Cymu, ac felly bydd yn ofod lle gallwch ofyn cwestiynau am hunaniaeth, hunan ofal a lles ac ati os ydych yn gyfforddus i wneud hynny. Bydd byrbrydau llysieuol a fegan yn cael eu darparu, a hefyd.
