Princess of Pop, Kylie Minogue, will be hosting a special programme across the network of BBC Local Radio services across the UK on Boxing Day morning from 9am. The popular singer, who has a large LGBTQIA following will, according to media website RCS Radio Today, look at kindness, giving, events, music and faith that really Make a Difference to people, and is part of the BBC's "Make A Difference" strand, showcasing bravery, inspiration and community spirit across the country.

The BBC Local radio services are financed by the television license fee and are part of public service broadcasting. They are separate from commercial and ILR stations (such as Heart, Smooth and Greatest Hits Radio) and from community stations (such as BCFM, Ujima and Glastonbury Community Radio).
