15/06/2023

In an interview with Vogue Magazine, non-binary actor Emma D'Arcy, who plays Rhaenyra Targaryen in the HBO and Sky Atlantic Serial "House of the Dragon", has discussed the hostility of parts of the right wing press towards gender non-conformist, non-binary and transgender people.  "We are in a scary period of contraction, especially where trans rights are concerned," they said.  Emma identifies as non-binary themselves, and speaks to Vogue about the intersection of trans oppression, racism and homophobia.  Vogue is available from many newsagents throughout the UK and EU.
