Martin Booth in the independent newspaper B247 reveals that the outstanding women of the female Bristol Bears Rugby Team are telling male misogynistic trolls just where to get off. Martin met with Elinor Snowsill who also plays for the Wales Women's Team. Elinor is also an ambassador for LGBTQ people in sport. Apparently, misogynists and homophobes, hiding behind their twitter and parler accounts, have been abusing women in the team. Elinor responds ““Do those men trolling articles about women’s rugby genuinely think we are going to believe them when they say they don’t care? The simple act of commenting to declare the statement proves the opposite to be true. I care about my sport, as do millions of others.” Well said Elinor, and we look forward to seeing the Women's Bears Team back in action in 2021.
