Tatchell Backs Right to Die in Extreme Cases

Gay and human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell is best known for his LGBT activism, but he also has interests in other fields. He is a supporter of the vegan charity Animal Aid for example and has written on issues as diverse as free speech to Cornish Independence. This week he has lent his support a new report from the campaign group “Dignity in Dying”, which exposes how British people have to spend a fortune going to the Dignitas Clinic in Switzerland if they are terminally sick and do not have any quality of life.
