Times Radio, the new national talk station from the Murdoch News International group, said that it was dedicating an extended early evening talk show on Tuesday evening to the nation's mental health as new lockdown restrictions were announced by the governmens in England, Wales and Scotland. Celebrity doctors and mental health experts from the Campaign Against Living Miserably joined staff at the station for a round table discussion on how to cope better with a series of measures which are likely, according to the Prime Minister, to stay in place until the Spring of next year. The LGBT Conservatives Group, which is allied to the Conservatives in Westminster, did not issue an immediate statement on its feelings about lockdown. As a voluntary organisation whose members work for it in their spare time, it was busy dealing with many media enquiries about the Gender Recognition Act as well.
