The Guardian reports that things are going from bad to worse for the UK’s two ultra right wing TV channels, which constantly rail against gay and trans people as part of their self proclaimed “war on woke”. Rupert Murdoch’s “Talk TV” is performing very badly, with audiences failing to take to its diet of ranting white men. The Guardian says “On Monday night, the flagship Piers Morgan Uncensored attracted just 64,000 viewers. Programmes that beat him in the same time slot included a documentary about the water around Alcatraz on the National Geographic channel and a repeat of 1970s sitcom The Good Life on Gold TV.” “Talk TV”’s rival, “GB News” is competing for the same small group of angry males but has a slightly higher audience level. Even so, they are nowhere near mass television channel status, and it is believed that many times during the day, “GB News” national audience is smaller than that for Welsh language specialist station S4C.
