What's on the TV for LGBTQ People - Tuesday

16/03/2021

On Tuesday evening (16th March), some programming of possible interest to LGBTQ People and allies on terrestrial television. At 9pm, Capital Radio's breakfast presenter, Roman Kemp explores the support given and sometimes not given, to boys and young men over their mental health support needs. With many gay, trans and bi men experiencing some mental health issues during their lifetimes, Roman asks what is going on in masculinity that has led to such an epidemic of young men self harming or taking their own lives. The programme, which airs on BBC-1, promises to be interesting and essential viewing for health practitioners and experts, but caution should be taken if you feel that you are not in a good space, as issues discussed may be triggering.

And at 11.35pm on Channel Four, a still informative, but lighter touch programme called “Sex Please” looks at the British attitudes to sex, sexuality and reproduction over a tumultuous sixty year period.
