Right Wing Papers' Hypocrisy Called Out

The Daily Mail newspaper, which is greatly hated amongst LGBTQIA people, has been accused of revealing its rank hypocrisy in a piece it published about Republican protesters during the period of mourning for the late Queen. The Daily Mail appeared to suggest that it was right that these people had their freedom of speech curtailed. And yet, as LGBTQIA people have long pointed out, the Mail always accuses other people, most recently transgender women, of curtailing its freedom of speech. “A vindictive, lying toilet rag” was how one lesbian woman described the Daily Mail on Facebook this week.
