Boyband Evening Airs on BBC-2 Television

On Saturday evening, 16th November, BBC-2 Television in the UK will be meeting members of Boybands from the classic era of acts such as Take That, A1, Five and East Seventeen.  Many a young gay guy would purchase the music papers like Smash Hits or tune into the boybands on border blasting station Atlantic 252 beaming pop in from Ireland.  The documentary on BBC-2, is, according to the I Newspaper, a no holds barred showcase of the highs and lows of boyband life during this golden period.  As well as glamour and excitement, there is burnout, psychological problems, and avaricious major record labels.  Nevertheless, if you enjoyed the boybands of the nineties, then this programme should bring back many happy memories, as well as reveal some of the back ground machinations of the groups' managements.
