Prince Harry Launches Legal Case Against Mail

Sky News reports that the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has launched a libel suit against the Daily Mail newspaper and its subsidiary Mail Online, a well known haunt of extreme homophobes and reactionaries.  It is not yet known what the Duke’s libel case will cover, but already people online have welcomed his litigation, pointing out that the Mail group has opposed LGBTQIA equality at every opportunity and has a long record of cosying up to some of the most unpleasant voices in British society.  Most notably, the Mail backed the fascist governments of Italy and Germany right up until the eve of the Second World War in September 1939.
