Government Appoints LGBTQIA Business Champion

In a society where money talks, it is important for there to be strong LGBTQIA business representation. Iain Anderson, who is an executive of the public relations firm Cicero, has been appointed by government to be the very first LGBTQIA Business Champion. Brighton gay magazine GSCENE says Mr Anderson's initial plans include “ a scehme to “buddy-up” bigger, more LGBTQ+ inclusive companies with smaller firms to help provide a business example.  Robbie de Santos from the Stonewall Group said “[Anderson’s appointment is] a welcome sign the government has appointed someone specifically to look at this. If you think about how much time we spend at work, it’s really key.”
