BBC Investigation into Amazon Ethics

13/04/2021

A BBC 2 investigation alleges that Amazon the multi million pound distributor, is cutting corners and applying unsafe working practices on its poorly paid staff. The findings were broadcast on the “News Night” programme on April 1st. Amazon denies the allegations, but many LGBTQ people interested in workers rights took to twitter to say that they would from now on be supporting independent businesses and avoiding the large retailer.
