"With the far right at the gates of power, our organisations measure their responsibilities at this decisive moment for democracy, for all the workers we represent, for our sectors and for France," the organisations wrote in a joint statement on Tuesday. The trade unions have pointed out that wherever the far right gets in power, it tries to undermine the impartiality and freedom of expression of the arts, broadcasters and print media.
