Italian LGBTQ+ Groups Rally Against Far Right

Hundreds of people including a wide range of LGBTQIA and progressive parties joined forces in the Italian city of Milan to protest against the impact of the far right government, which for the first time since Mussolini’s day, includes open fascists.  Milan had been registering children of same-sex couples conceived overseas through surrogacy – which is illegal in Italy  - but its centre-left mayor, Giuseppe Sala, revealed last week that this had stopped after the right wing interior ministry sent a letter insisting that the courts must decide.
