Sue Crosses Continents for Classical Music

Lesbian icon, friendly television host Sue Perkins is to temporarily join the staff of Britain's national commercial classical music network Classic FM.  In a four part series, called Race to Antarctica,Sue will take a musical expedition from the UK to Antarctica, exploring cities, countries and continents, whilst discovering classical music connections along the way.   he series will air every Friday night at 9pm.   Sue Perkins said: “I am thrilled to be part of the Classic FM family and embark on this new series which perfectly combines two of my great passions – classical music and travel. I look forward to joining with Classic FM’s well travelled audience as we embark on this musical voyage together.”  In the UK, Classic FM broadcasts on frequencies between 100 and 102 MHz FM, in Bristol the outlet being 101.4.  The station is also on digital television services and digital DAB radio.
