Media website RCS Radio Today reports that The Hits Radio Pride, a commercial LGBTQIA station available online from the people who run the main Hits Radio, is rebranding for Saturday as Hits Radio Europride. Highlights on the schedule will include James and Matt kicking off a day of non stop Eurovision music from 10am Saturday morning. There will be special documentaries, looking at the successes of countries like Sweden, who brought us ABBA, and a look back at the last time the UK hosted the competition, in 1998 (when the winner was transgender Israeli icon Dana International). The station will transmit the "Top Thirty Eurovision Songs of All Time" and presenter Stephanie Hirst said ‘If you aren’t lucky enough to be in Liverpool for Eurovision itself Hits Radio Euro-Pride is absolutely the next best thing. We’ll be bringing you the tunes, the talent and the tales of Eurovision – you won’t want to miss it!’
