Kylie Minogue Brings House down for ITV

16/11/2024

Perhaps with a view to rivalling the queer friendly output of BBC-2 on Saturday night, 16th November, with the BBC network spending several hours in Boyband heaven, commercial television channel ITV1 was not to be outdone in the gay stakes.  Late on the evening, they offered an exclusive Audience with Kylie Minogue at the Royal Albert Hall.  Filmed earlier in the year, this extravaganza showcased songs from across Kylie's thirty five year career as the Princess of Pop, from "All the Lovers" to "Better the Devil You know".  In the audience were LGBTQIA+ heroes including Tom Allen, and Andrew Scott to name just two.  In between songs, Kylie talked her career and answered questions from the celebrity audience.
