Gay DJ Star Nick Grimshaw Returns to Radio

Well loved gay radio presenter Nick Grimshaw, who concluded a fourteen year stint as the breakfast presenter on BBC Radio 1 in 2021, is making a brief return to the radio waves during the Whitsun Half Term Holiday in the UK when he will be sitting in for Chris Evans as the breakfast presenter on the commercial network Virgin Radio.  Nick Grimshaw said: “So excited to be back on the radio for the week looking after my childhood hero’s show! He’s the man who made me love radio and I can’t wait to be on next week everyday from 6.30am.”  Virgin Radio began life in 1993 as one of the first legal national commercial radio stations, on medium wave 1215.  Today it operates on DAB radio nationally and on cable platforms.
