WIltshire Town Tells Super Troll Musk to Go

23/10/2024

BBC Radio Bristol and ITV West Country News report that the local council in the market town of Chippenham, has voted to come off the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, even as its far right wing owner, Elon Musk, spends billions to interfere with the American Presidential election.  The Council reports that the values of Mr Musk do not coincide with those of the authority which aims to treat all its citizens fairly and equally.  Many people, institutions and private companies have already severed ties with the website over the interference of its owner in many issues.  Musk is a transphobe and homophobe and is considered by many to be an archetypal "gammon", that is a privileged white male angry at the rights and concerns of all and any minorities.
