Netflix Documentary Exposes the Far Right

Totally TV Guide reports that Netflix will release a hard hitting but acclaimed documentary on Tuesday (15th July).  Entitled "Apocalypse in The Tropics", the piece is an examination of certain strains of far right evangelical Christianity in Brazil, which have corrupted the Christian teachings of tolerance and peace in to a bigoted frenzy, closely linked with a conservative far right which has destroyed the rainforest, persecuted indigenous peoples, and tries to suppress feminism, socialism, gay people and democracy itself.  Totally TV Guide recommends the piece with a four out of five scoring.
