Police with Pride, is the successor to the old Gay Police Association. You can find it at lgbt.police.uk. It serves those LGBTQ police officers serve in uniform, and in particular has been instrumental in changing attitudes within the police service towards LGBTQ communities. The Police with Pride Network reports that it has sadly had to postpone its annual conference, to have taken place within the beautiful city of Bristol, the gateway to the fantastic West Country. The event was scheduled for 10th July. The network says “Avon and Somerset Police is working hard to find a suitable new date for the event, hopefully later this year.
