Homosexuality Occurs Across Animal Species

07/11/2023

UK based LGBTQIA newswire Pink News reports that scientists at Estación Experimental de Zonas Áridas, in Spain, examined all scientific literature relating to same-sex activity in the animal kingdom and created a database of their conclusions.  Whilst the conclusions of the consequent report are that sexuality may have a different aetiology and function in human beings, same-sex activity is common and totally normal for most animals, including fish, birds, an array of mammals and even insects.  The scientists found that samesex behaviour was more common in mammals than other species, such as birds or insects, with more than 80 per cent of mammal groups experiencing same-sex behaviour in a number of long-term field studies.
