Coverage of Festival Shortlisted for Award

24/09/2025

Media Website RCS Radio Today reports that the annual awards for excellence in community radio will take place in early October.  The ceremony celebrates Britain's community radio stations and the top broadcasts made on the network of some 350 community broadcasters on FM, AM and DAB across the nation.  Shortlisted in the best outdoor event coverage category is our colleagues at Pride Radio in Newcastle Upon Tyne, a full time FM LGBTQIA station.  Their coverage of the Northern Pride Festival has earned them the accolade.  The ceremony takes place on Saturday 25 October in Bradford, following the National Community Radio Conference, organised by the UK Community Radio Network. Volunteers, presenters, producers and supporters will gather for what is set to be a major celebration of the sector.
