Stonewall Hit Positive Note in New Year Post

“Ending hate against LGBTQ+ people won’t happen overnight. It’ll happen because courageous, passionate people like us keep campaigning and don’t give up.” So writes Jake O’Dwyer for the Stonewall Charity, as it issues its New Year wishes to supporters. Mr O’Dwyer goes on: “I want this to be the year we turn the tide on anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime. I know that sounds like a huge ambition, but I truly believe that love can win over violence and discrimination.  We all deserve to live and love proudly and without fear - and it’s our community and allies that can make a change.”
