Miriam Pleases Readers with Fun Interview

Miriam Margolyes, the lesbian Jewish actress, raconteur and comic, has earned praise for her directness and wit as she sat down to answer questions sent in by readers of the Guardian. She spoke about how she outraged swivel eyed readers of the anti-gay newspaper Daily Telegraph when she joked about Jeremy Hunt on BBC Radio Four, and her involvement in fundraising for LGBTQIA charity Stonewall and its stance on corrupt footballing organisation FIFA. Ms Margolyes also remarked “The people I loathe most in the world are Vladimir Putin, Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson, David Cameron and Benjamin Netanyahu.”
