Maupin Reveals All in Autobiography

Armistead Maupin, the originator of the Tales of the City sequence of books, which chart the progress of a groups of diverse friends from San Francisco from the rainbow hued seventies to the present day, has given a series of interviews ahead of the publication of his memoirs. Mr Maupin looks back on a life intertwined with the queer communities of the bay area for the last forty odd years and is on the recommended list by many booksellers, including Gay's The Word, News from Nowhere and Foyles. He is interviewed in depth in the current issue of the gay magazine Winq which retails for six pounds at newsagents.
