The Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts takes place over this coming weekend, one of the most successful and famous festivals in the world. As always, there will be an LGBTQIA+ presence there, with dance tents and safe spaces, although in the main, the overall festival environment is tolerant and welcoming of all comers. If you are an armchair enjoyer of festivals, then you can tune into the festival's special event radio station, Worthy FM online. It is also available across the festival site on 87.7 FM, right at the bottom of your FM dial. And through the weekend, there will be extensive coverage on BBC Radio and Television, particularly BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6-Music. Sometimes, these are the best places from which to enjoy the bands and the other performances.
