We have to thank the Tumblr blogsite Fatliberation, which never forgets the roots of different forms of oppression, and which brings a feminist lesbian, transfeminist and queer analysis to many of its postings. They drew our attention to another superb blog on Tumblr, the Lesbian Herstorian. This archive of fanzines, stickers, badges, photos and excerpts from newspaper articles on the LGBTQIA and especially lesbian feminist and trans lesbian feminist movements, will fascinate students of history. There are dozens, if not hundreds of publications represented, showing how LGBTQIA peoples built a media landscape for themselves, particularly in the period before the internet allowed for mass and instantaneous community activism.
