Corporate Support for Pride is Valued

It's Pride Season, and numerous mainstream businesses are once again publicising their support for the LGBTQ communities in the hope of gaining loyalty and spending from the much vaunted “Pink Pound”. It's an arrangement that many within the community are wary of, but at the same time, in a society based on monetary concerns, corporate support is also one way of gaining social progress in terms of acceptance and freedom. Spotted already promoting their support of our communities in our home city of Bristol include Sainsbury's, Halifax, Excelsior Independent Comics, Prowler and Simply Pleasure Adult Shops and Debenhams. We will continue to note and publicise any other shops that we note are making an effort to support Pride with flags, window stickers and posters.
